Originally from the mountains of New Hampshire, Dave is a NY-based actor and filmmaker.
He has worked on TV/film as an actor (Gotham, House of Cards, Blindspot) and a director (COHAB, Night on the Lam). He has taught film acting and film theory at the high school and college levels--most recently at New York Film Academy (NYFA). His training includes an extended apprenticeship under his mentor and friend, the late Bob Clark (A Christmas Story, Porky's).
On stage, Dave has appeared in NY and regionally with theaters including Lincoln Center, Classic Stage Company, Shakespeare Theatre, Alliance Theatre, Out of Hand Theater Company, and others. Also, he performed with Big Apple Circus Clown Care.
His original play, Until Next Time, a narrative clown piece, appeared by invitation at the NY Clown Festival, and he is the 2014 recipient of the Rosemarie Tichler Fund Award.
He holds an MFA from NYU Graduate Acting.
He loves Chaplin, card magic, big sky, and excellent desserts.
